City of Quinte West
I joined the Communications department at the City of Quiet West in 2021 and played an integral role in supporting various marketing campaigns. Notably, I contributed to the success of initiatives such as National Public Works Week, the Eats & Treats Map, and the summer AR Scavenger Hunt. Through my involvement, I actively participated in crafting and executing communication strategies that effectively promoted city events and engaged the community.
Social Media Campaigns
National Public Works Week
National Public Works Week, observed annually in May, serves as a dedicated period to educate and inform the public about the integral role public works plays in enhancing the community's quality of life. Upon joining the Communications Department, interviews were conducted with five members of the City's public works team. Leveraging insights from these interviews, I meticulously crafted captions and coordinated a series of impactful posts, featuring individual team members, strategically scheduled across various platforms. This initiative aimed at fostering awareness and appreciation for the contributions of the public works team.
Eats & Treats Map
The Eats and Treats Map was introduced as an initiative to showcase the diverse array of ice cream shops and food trucks located within Quinte West. Operating with a well-coordinated approach, I curated and executed a social media campaign wherein distinct spots on the map were featured two to three times weekly. My responsibilities encompassed photography, caption writing, and meticulous scheduling of each post, contributing to the campaign's success in promoting local culinary offerings across various platforms.
Miscellaneous Photography
Demonstrating a versatile skill set, my proficiency extends beyond dedicated campaigns to encompass miscellaneous photography assignments. In these diverse projects, I've applied an acute eye for detail and creative composition to capture compelling visuals that transcend the ordinary. Whether documenting events, architectural elements, or candid moments, each photograph tells a unique story, showcasing my commitment to excellence in visual storytelling.
